Mia is the founder of Ahoy Training. She has over 15 years of professional experience helping teams create and improve digital products. Yes, she navigated the advent of the internet, the bloom of app nation and now, the AI tsunami 🌊
With a BA in Graphic Design and Corporate Communication, she continued her education with top industry leaders (NNg, General Assembly, IDEO-U, Trinity College Dublin). In Ireland, she worked with some of the world's largest global companies, including Google, Verizon, Enterprise, and Mastercard.
Now, she designs and delivers engaging and impactful training in soft (yet powerful) skills, as well as team-building experiences. She is also undertaking a Post-graduate degree in Psychology.

Why did I choose “Ahoy Training” for the name of my company?
"Ahoy" means "Hi!" and is the greeting of sailors. The nautical analogy reflects the challenges of working in corporate (especially in tech), which can sometimes feel like being on a ship sailing a very rough sea. The work itself is challenging, and so are our career paths.
This last part is key: in the ever-changing world of technology, knowledge empowers you, boosts your confidence and opens up new opportunities. I want to help you set your own course and design a work-life you enjoy.
